_Here's How We Academy
Boarding
Academy athletes receive housing, clothing, food and medical care to ensure that their basic essentials are met.
Education
Athletes are enrolled at community schools during the day. In the evening they receive tutoring, english classes and computer classes.
Discipleship
Athletes are given the opportunity to attend weekly devotions and church if they desire. We strive that each athlete experience grace, compassion and the love of God deeply.
Family Reintegration
Before entering the academy, we do an evaluation on every athlete's family situation. We then work alongside the athlete and family for reunification.
Soccer Training
We provide high-level soccer training for our athletes. We have even had athletes from our academy go on to play professionally.
Dance/Arts
We provide dance classes and keep art supplies at our academy so that athletes can pursue the arts. Some of our athletes have even recorded their own music.
Farming
The academy maintains a small farm that provides supplementary food. Athletes learn how to do basic agriculture and take part in growing a portion of what they eat.
Community Service
Athletes do community service where they live. Often this involves helping rebuild houses for widows and elderly persons. Our goal is that athletes grow to help others and transform their communities.
University / Vocational Training
After graduating high school, athletes can attend university with a Kefa scholarship. Athletes can also choose to enter vocational training programs where they can learn a technical skill after finishing Senior 2.
Meet Etienne
Etienne joined our academy when it opened in 2012. When he met tragedy, he was faced with an incredibly difficult decision between his dreams and taking care of his family. Learn how he took the love he received and gave it to others.
