_Here's How We Community
Soccer Training
We provide high-level soccer trainings a minimum of twice per week at each of our sites. Several of our athletes have gone on to play professionally and on the national Rwandan team.
Family Reconciliation
Our primary goal is to keep children at home. However, when there is an issue and a child goes onto the streets, our coaches work with their families to find solutions so that children can safely return. In addition, coaches regularly visit athletes' families to see how families and athletes are doing.
Female Empowerment
We strive to use soccer to empower females on and off the field. Soccer is not always encouraged for females in their communities, but girls on our teams show incredible resilience. Our hope is to raise up female leaders who will transform their community.
Devotions
Devotions are held after trainings for players that wish to attend. Our hope is that every child deeply experiences the love of God on their team and discovers how incredibly valuable they are.
Leadership Development
Our coaches are from the communities that they coach in. In fact, half started as players on one of our teams. We work to develop coaches spiritually, professionally and to have training in everything from sports psychology to physiology to basic counseling techniques.
Education
Our teams encourage and empower students to stay in school. Several of our athletes have received athletic scholarships to high schools - allowing them to graduate.
Meet Together Force
Meet our girls team in Jabana called Together Force. Follow the stories of 3 female athletes as they share why sports and being a part of a team is so important in changing perceptions and opening doors of opportunity.
